About Assist With Music

Assist With Music is two things in one place: a living encyclopedia of musical styles — mapping genres into families and sub-genres, with their history, eras, and the artists and songs that defined them — and a workspace for planning AI-assisted music, where you can organize the songs you generate, compare versions, rate them, and decide what makes the cut.

The encyclopedia

Browse the full map of musical styles for free, no account needed. Every style links out to the artists and songs that define it. Start at the encyclopedia or explore the genre trees.

The planner

With an account you get a private workspace to bring in the music you create, classify it by genre, rate and compare every version, and mark the keepers. It is yours alone unless you share a link, and a shared link is read-only and can be turned off whenever you like.
